I live in El Segundo. A fancy new Thai place here has noodles for about $14. Another nearby place on Sepulveda charges about $11. JARANIN THAI...? $8!
So the price is right, but now the question is, "How about the quality and the portions?"
Truth is, I don't know how this place only has 3 stars. I ordered the pad kee mow, and it tasted authentic enough, pretty spicy. Dinner combo was only $9, and that came with rice, soup and fried wontons.
It's on Aviation Blvd. which isn't a very nice area, but if you don't want overpriced Thai food that's decent quality, this place is a no brainer. Staff was very friendly. Place was empty on weekday around 5 p.m. -

Came here a few times for lunch with coworkers and for dinner with family. Food tastes decent, I like the lunch specials (most are just under $10) such as pad woon sen (bean thread noodles) with chicken. I also like their eggplant with tofu. Here's the thing with lunch specials:
- You can choose your meat: beef, chicken, and tofu come to mind at the moment.
- You can choose between steamed rice or brown rice.
- Your lunch special also comes with two thinly filled won tons to add a bit of crunch to your meal.
- It also includes a surprisingly simple and satisfying appetizer of a small bowl of soup with cabbage, carrots, and a couple of pieces of chicken.
The place seems set up just right for singles and small groups coming in from neighboring businesses. You can dine on their small outdoor patio under a shady trellis covered with fragrant jasmine vines. Or in their indoor seating, lots of small tables available under a colorful canopy of umbrellas. Service is generally quick unless they are crowded.
Parking is very limited in the back and there is also street parking in the neighborhood. That part makes it a bit of a hassle but everything else is just fine! -

Love LOVe love this place !
Mine & my boyfriends favorite Thai place/restaurant!
Would highly recommend to come in and eat here, the atmosphere is super pretty, clean, and quiet. Great music always playing !
Want these people to get more customers because they deserve it! High class feel -

New name, menus are from the old place that used to be here, food is the same, lunch specials are reasonably priced. Food was decent, good selection. Service was friendly but. Little slow. Might go back again but there are so many other Thai restaurants in the area that have better food and service.

The food here is excellent. Unfortunately one of the waiters in the evening is not very friendly at all. He acts like everything is a chore. We get him a lot so it's not
Like he was just having a bad day. Unfortunately it kind of ruins our dining experience.
